Digital Painting I: Inner Self Portrait
The project was practice for perspective and composition while focusing on how to paint digitally. In addition, this project helped me understand how to make an interesting composition with color contrasts, value contrasts, and saturation contrasts.
Many compositions were thought out and refined in thumbnails, most all reflecting a theme of hydrokinesis. The color palette and theme was loosely inspired by Thatgamecompany’s Journey concept work.
