The Adobo Design Awards, the Philippines' premier design awards show, wanted a new set of trophies for 2015. We couldn't be more excited to take on this kind of design challenge.
We came up with trophies that look sleek and solid. The prism shape gives it stability, whether set vertically or stacked.
We put together contrasting materials: clear resin set on opaque metallic. The organizers can opt for alternative materials to resin for future award shows.
The new Adobo Design Awards trophy represents its first letter, "A". The prism also stands for the design show's aim of showcasing the spectrum of contemporary design, and its search for excellence.
