A larger-than-life brochure
was designed for our friends at FLIQ to act as a point of contact for the furniture and product design consultancy during their participation at the 2014 International Furniture Fair Singapore (IFFS) trade show.
The brochure's design is a salute to FLIQ’s founder, George, and
his curious habit of flipping over furniture pieces to inspect their undersides—something he started doing right from his school days as a young industrial designer.
 
We decided to feature a photo of George—after much persuasion—to bring out a sense of tactility and personality to the brand. An image of his back was eventually used on the back cover to mirrorwhat he does with furniture. With the brochure opening into a huge A1 size, this ensured there was enough real estate to give the furniture and its images featured inside the prominence they rightfully deserved, and catch a few stares from across the exhibition halls.
