Modcam's MOD.01 the first of what surely will be an exciting product range! Modcam is revolutionizing Internet of Things by merging data tracking and intelligence in one small package.
MOD.01 can count people, things, create heat maps and much more.
While combining a unique open Android software architecture, strong processing power and a high resolution camera, MOD.01 provides the ability to download data without the need to download image or video from the device.
Additionally, the MOD.01 is based on standard components, and holds a Quad core 1GHz Arm7 processor as well as a 5 Megapixels camera sensor. Loaded with 1GB RAM, 4GB NAND memory and both fixed and wireless connectivity. Additional sensors such as GPS, accelerometer, compass and microphone are also packed into this compact device.
We made sure that this amazing package is easy to setup and use, but also radiates a proud design language that shows it's technological prowess.
HOWL also helped Modcam with branding, tagline and communication. Frankly (our engineering partner) supported Modcam and HOWL with the mechanical design in MOD.01 to ensure the perfect fit and finish. Together with our friends at Frankly, we delivered tool-ready files and a complete package ready for mass-manufacturing.
