Utopia Logo

A new brand identity for our agency. No pressure
 
The logo needed to reflect our core philosophy: “In the pursuit of perfection one often stumbles upon excellence”. The word Utopia translates to ‘No Place’, meaning a perfect society that cannot be found. The challenge? Create a logo that represents perfection, an unobtainable ideal, which is different for everyone. This led us to a question and, in turn, our solution. Why settle on a logo when we could create an entire world?
The flexi-logo represents a window into a much larger world. A world where every one of our employees and clients is represented by their own piece of real estate (their unique logo); and where every milestone, accolade and aspect of agency culture is captured. Every letterhead, business card and piece of collateral shows a different ‘window’ into the Utopia world, selected at random.
 
No one who comes into contact with the logo will ever see the world in its entirety, paying homage to the fact that Utopia, like perfection, cannot be found. The window looking into Utopia is constantly changing, giving the viewer a new glimpse into the world.
 
The best part? The logo, like Utopia, is forever growing and expanding.
