In the future, the profession of Architecture as the act of designing the space for human shelter and interaction became obsolete and disappeared from the face of the planet, because society is self-sufficient with an infrastructure ‘on-the-go’. People will be self-generative and will not depend on the government force for their protection and service, but before this change will happen and in order to survive, the remaining Architects like many other professions will begin to create and develop their own tools for the needs they were designing, with scripting codes and patterns that will transform humanity. Architects are now called Architecttooers.          

 

Capital City, January 2115.

 

Asino: “I cannot wait for our baby to finally be born”.

Atifroda: “Yes’ I am also counting the days”

Asino: “Do you have an appointment with the doctor today?”

Atifroda: “No, the Architecttooer will come to see me this afternoon, remember?”

Asino: “YES” – “Finally”, our boy will get his scripting”.

Atiforda: “I am so happy for him but cannot avoid being nervous myself. I wonder, what exactly feels and how my body will look with the tattoo?”

Asino: “Well, do not worry because this Architecttooer has very good references. He was born here in Capital City, you know!”

Atifroda: “Oh that is a big relief. What is his name again?”

Asino: “It is like the third time I tell you, his name is Seuz”.

Atifroda: “SEUZ, mmm…what a weird name he has!”

Asino: “It suits his profession (laughs), all these men are always so strange, focus on small things all the times, carrying their tools so carefully and talking of things that only them can understand.”

 

“Knock, Knock, Knock”, (sounds of door knocking).

 

Seuz: “Good afternoon, my name is Seuz, I am your Architecttooer”.

AA family: “Yes –Yes, of course, please come in and make yourself at home”

Seuz: “Thank you. Let me get started and simply explain you the procedure. It is very easy. I have designed and test-drawn the tattoo for your future son to come. Inside contains a scrip program that I have carefully formulated.”

“The tattoo is made with a synthetic ink that carries artificial cells that will grow and reproduce inside the human body.”

“These tattoos are biologically passed on from mother to child since the pregnancy period. The baby already will be born with it impregnated in his skin, and with time the child will have to learn to control it and produce his own parametricism”.

“…so shall we proceed?”

AA family: (no words…!)

 

Time goes by, (parametric city changes and reshapes, it reorganizes).

 

Atifroda: “Look at him, he is so adorable” (said to Asino when staring at baby).

Asino: “Yes, but he is growing so fast! He is already developing his first blobs throughout his tattoo soon he will be teenager and learn how to transform those blobs into parametric structures. He will be independent and move on with his parametric results.”        

Apaul: “Mommy! daddy! (the boy yells) Look I am able to manipulate and alter the end result. Can I go out now and grow more elements from my inner cells. I want to keep practicing with my friends until I can evaporate from my body a whole parametric structure. I want to be a pro-parametrixta!"

Asino: "How I wish grandpa was alive to see his grandson growing up. You know, he used to be a great architect, one of those that they don't exist anymore, drawing all the time'.

 

What was an architect? - A creator, an artist, an inventor, a builder, an alchemist, a mythomaniac, a master or simply an ignorant man with hope. Before in the old days architects were the ones to conceptualize, draw and build for men; and in this sense, what is an architect now? - Now they are only a blurry remembrance of our unaccountable past life, a kind of good character of a fairy tale with happy ending. In the future only Architecttooers can exist.
