Domestic workers are a common occurrence and highly depended upon in India. The practice is so entrenched in the Indian way of life and gives jobs to such a large workforce that it is impossible to abolish with a few quick laws.
My proposal therefore, is not a comment on whether the practice should be removed or critiqued, rather it makes an effort to work with an existing system and tap into a network that has so far been ignored.
