The prototypes are accompanied by large-format (100 x 80 cm) photomontages created by the photographers ilario_magali. Several residents of the Cité Radieuse of Briey who agreed to be photographed, posed in front of walls in their apartments. The wallpaper designs were ‘pasted’ in afterwards using advanced techniques of computer image manipulation.

Vitale Design created this wallpaper and pattern from one photo taken on the Radiant City's balcony. This one image, composed of the light and shadow play on the balcony concrete floor, repeated and rearranged resulted in this final pattern.
