This is a series of three portraits designed for SPI CGIL, one of the major Italian unions, and Libera, an association that promotes outreach activities and various types of protest action against the Mafia phenomenon and organized crime. The people portrayed share the same fate: they were all killed by the Mafia. The project aimed to increase attention on their life and their active role in the fight against all kinds of crime.
