Festival de Setembro Visual Identity 2023
Festival de Setembro’23 was inspired by the cosmopolitan spirit of the 4th Count of Ourém, Dom Afonso. It traces the history of portuguese emigration from Ourém to France, United Kingdom, Brazil, Angola, and Mozambique, highlighting the relationship between heritage and interculturality. For three days people from all over the world converge to celebrate diversity through music, gastronomy and performative arts in the medieval village. Guided by the concept of intercultural intersections, the visual image is drawn upon lines that reflect identity representations constructed from migratory trajectories.
