People who must live in isolation in a house for a long time can exhibit various behaviors. The idea of characters being isolated in a remote or decaying location can heighten feelings of vulnerability and helplessness.
The familiar setting of a home from the past can be distorted into something unsettling, playing on the fear of the unknown.
However, others may begin to feel lonely, anxious, or even depressed. The narrow hallways and low ceilings add to the oppressive feeling of confinement.
The anxiety is not solely about the fear of a specific object or situation but is more related to the fear of having a panic attack or feeling trapped.
Some people may become creative and develop new skills, while others may resort to negative behaviors such as overeating, drinking, or watching excessive television.
As the wind sighed through the broken shutters, it carried the haunting melody of the house's untold stories, inviting those brave enough to explore the mysteries locked within its decaying walls.
In such situations, it is important to maintain a regular daily routine, regular exercise and contact with other people via telephone or internet to maintain mental health.
In a small, cramped house, claustrophobia feels like an invisible enemy that takes away the air you can breathe.
