Centena es un estudio creativo ubicado en la ciudad de Barranquilla, Colombia. Desde el Caribe, practican la artesanía, arman lámparas en medio del juego y del color. Su nombre hace alusión al número de piezas que desarrollarán, 100 en total. Su objetivo principal es brindar simplicidad y diversión a la vida cotidiana. Cada lámpara es única y singular dentro de un centenar.
Para el proyecto, propusimos una identidad visual alegre y exploratoria, reflejando así la naturaleza de sus lámparas. Planteamos una gama cromática vibrante con tonalidades fuertes. La intención detrás del logotipo es transmitir, a través de sus letras, la esencia de un proyecto creativo y versátil. Desarrollamos una iconografía que evoca sus lámparas, empleando un estilo libre y dibujado a mano, en sintonía con la singularidad de sus piezas.
Centena is a creative studio located in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia. Hailing from the Caribbean, they practice craftsmanship, assembling lamps amidst playfulness and vibrant colors. Their name alludes to the number of pieces they will develop—100 in total. Their primary objective is to bring simplicity and enjoyment to everyday life. Each lamp is unique and distinctive within a hundred.
For the project, we proposed a cheerful and exploratory visual identity, reflecting the essence of their lamps. We introduced a vibrant chromatic range with bold tones. The intention behind the logo is to convey, through its letters, the essence of a creative and versatile project. We crafted iconography reminiscent of their lamps, employing a freehand, hand-drawn style that resonates with the uniqueness of their pieces.
