Stationary Color Workshop

The branding identity for our client, A Blade of Grass, was built upon the concept of individual artists coming together as a group to create contemporary art all while maintaining his or her uniqueness. In the course of establishing A Blade of Grass’ identity we developed the Stationary Color Workshop, a software that allows for creation and manipulation of the logo’s color palette while clearly keeping the logo’s identifiable shape.

The user of the Stationary Color Workshop can modify a large series of parameters, based upon which a practically infinite number of logo color schemes can be created, allowing for the coloring of each occurrence of the logo to be unique. These logos can then be saved in collections within the software, output to multiple types of file formats, and used to automatically create all of the stationary elements for print-ready and digital formats.

Stationary such as envelopes, letterhead, and business cards–each with a distinctly colored logo–can be printed in- or out-of-house while the digital formats allow for email signatures and the website to continually change colors upon reloading.
