Best Before
A film about people who fear the Best Before date!
My good friend, brother-in-arms, sea Captain and all round good chap, Mark Boggis did a little short film with writer Pete Goldsack last summer about people who fear the sell by date on products. Having a wife who makes me throw things out as if things turn off at the stroke of midnight, I really felt the story!
They asked me to put together a quick poster idea for competitions they were entering it to, I came up with idea of using a product barcode but we decided to change it to a QR Code that links to Mark's site to get double use out of the image! Go on, try it on your smart phone!
I also did the titles at the end and some VFX work, painting out a few shadows, reflections and the sort. Check out the full film below.
