Behind-The-Scenes
_____

Selling "Narrowness"
_____
As this is Razer's first ever low-profile keyboard, our goal was to highlight its sleekness by showcasing its ability to navigate through tight spaces, effectively conveying a sense of narrowness throughout the video.
Beauty in Black
_____

The initial concept was to elevate the keyboard's modern aesthetic through an industrial, modern art, concrete-based type of environment. However, whilst sexy in theory, the stark contrast between the lighter concrete and the black keyboard started to bring attention to the concrete rather than the product.

With that in mind, and through close communication with Razer, we collectively came to an elegant solution of simply turning this concrete into a smoother, and black concrete environment. Keeping to the initial vision of a modern industrial setting that elevates the keyboard's aesthetic, whilst allowing it to stand out beautifully in black.

Shield-ing
_____

One of the key benefits of this product was its Laser-Etched keycaps with an Ultra Durable Coating that afforded users with sharp labels that stay sharp, and keycaps that can greatly withstand wear and tear.

Drawing inspiration from organic growth and fractal pattern based shields, we intended to visualize this durability through intense bombardment hitting this hybrid organic shield. Eventually this idea had to be simplified for maximal readability as the organic concept would be too difficult to visually read over the short time of this commercial.

Simplifying the concept of a 'shield', visually lands itself to nature's strongest shape, the hexagon; a quick read, with invisible forces that represent constant natural usage on the keyboard.
Pushing for Sharper, Cleaner and Stronger Visuals
_____
Since undertaking this project, we’ve been working together with our partners to push the the quality of our images. Through valuable feedback seeking sharper, cleaner and richer blacks and color, we deliver a sense of realism in our renders while maintaining impactful and eye-catching photographic visuals!
Director's Message
_____

Our commercial for the Deathstalker V2 Pro features an over-arching concept of "narrowness-in-style" that aims to evoke a sense of sophistication, precision and elegance – A reflection of the product itself. Although we faced some hiccups during production that led to some minor conceptual changes, we quickly pivoted to deliver an outcome that both our partners and us are proud of.

One of the greatest challenges in this showcase, was weaving in a substantial amount of key features without overwhelming the viewer. We achieved this through a steady-paced edit and heavy-hitting animation. Showcasing the product's features without rushing, letting the visuals highlight the product's sophistication.

In all our product trailers, we constantly aim to craft an emotional connection between audience and product. For this premium low-profile fully fledged gaming keyboard, we believe the trailer to be both informative and visually compelling enough to inspire its viewers to appreciate the product's features and design.

And the music is pretty dope.
