Wedding Invitations
When my wife and I were married in New York, we invited friends and family from the US as well as from places like Mexico and Italy. The travel theme was emphasized since we traveled extensively before we were married and knew our guests would be traveling to join us. We encouraged our guests to take the long trip by sending them an invitation that resembled a passport, included useful details, and was printed on a single piece of paper.
Those that stayed at local Manhattan hotels, were welcomed with a small gift basket which included snacks, drinks and our own NYC Guide. This guide had maps, addresses and brief descriptions of our favorite places in the city such as restaurants, bars and shops. We even continued the passport theme with the design of the Thank You cards.
