Jacob's Creek - Katie & Co


Jacob’s Creek were unable to find a suitable TV series to sponsor for their Autumn 2008 campaign. Having won against competition from the Telegraph, Times, Guardian and Independent, we created an alternative: an online comedy drama hosted on MailOnline.

This campaign was a media first for the national press marketplace.

Bafta-nominated Big Balls Films were hired to produce “Katie & Co”, a comedy drama following the highs and lows of food critic Katie and her close group of friends. The 4-minute episodes premiered every Sunday for 10 weeks and was streamed via the Katie & Co microsite, within MailOnline. The microsite also housed a competition to win a trip to Australia with links to the Jacohttp://www.mailconnected.co.uk/uploads/files/TMoS-Case-Studies-Jacobs-Creek.pdfLarge format interactive overlay ad format designed in Adobe Fireworks and Flash. Delivered via the DoubleClick Studio Rich-Media system and published on Metro.co.uk as part of a cross-media sponsorship deal.
