ONE OF MY oldest friends (namely professionnal photographer Joel Lemay) has been a gearhead for years. As he invariably keeps acquiring various licenses, he ended up winter rallying a few weeks ago. Always carrying GoPros around, he "documented" his progress on the path to become a licensed rally driver. When I saw his montage's first draft, I asked if I could compose a quick piece to give the video whatever plus value I could muster out of an hour or so.

 

The result mixes dubsteb and electronic influences like Moderat or Justice, and would somehow fit, if I might say so, racing games like Forza or Gran Turismo.
