The customer got us an assignment to make a set of advertising posters for the YC 2012 contest. All of the works were composed into a coherent advertising campaign. We used the logotype's structure to depict the creative potential connected to the contest. 

The illustrations of different categories are bursting out from the letter Y (Young). Coming to the layout construction we decided to create some extra tension by placing the lettering in central arrangement. And by doing this we actually built the hourglass - an evident symbol of time passing by and a reminder for new creatives of all the discipline they have to get used to after joining the contest. We changed the look of the YC logotype of each poster, matching it up to the illustration's style. We also used the same procedure while designing the main motto of the campaign - inspiring creativity.

We used our personal illustration concept to create the campaign. We placed an offer for the client - if they give us free hand, we can do it for free. On that account we consider this project not commercial.
