Description

Hotel Amnesia in Lisbon is a non-existent place, made up for Young Creatives Eurobest 2012 communication use. We created the identification of the hotel, the logo and the whole graphic design of the campaign (all posters' illustrations and leaflets in form of a receipts), using the font Times New Roman, which is usually skipped when it comes to designing. 

Client's brief

We need a communication for Polish pre-eliminations to Young Creatives Eurobest 2012 competition, which is, in Polish community, less known than Cannes Lions. Involving, breaking scepticism and financial limits, with expressive, coherent and distinctive design. 

Soulution

We took the platform of the font Times New Roman as a designing formula. Using this skipped in graphic design font, we created the whole world of illustrations, logotypes, packages, leaflets and even the receipts, printed on real cash registers. Everything with Times New Roman. Well, maybe besides the 10 euro cent coin which doesn't use Times New Roman. Nobody's perfect. 

The font and the graphic language used in a non-standard way, contributed to rising of a coherent, eye-catching communication, well taken by their tough as a target group. Finally, 34 companies submited their teams for the competition! And then there was a great party with the winners from Poland in Amnesia hotel for the afterparty. Don't you remember?
