Life Insurance Branding
I was assigned to develop a visual branding approach for a startup Life Insurance service.
The challenge was how to present a product that revolves around death. I had to prepare a proposal within a two weeks iteration and present it to stakeholders.
Method: Competitor analysis, moodboards for colors, textures, styles. Defining main graphic elements like blobs that refer to flexibility and organic friendliness.
I also decided to bring joy, playfulness and bold colors to the product. I took as example Día de los Muertos. Being Mexican myself I have a first-hand experience of seeing death in a friendly and lighthearted spirit. It was my intention to channel this optic into this graphic style.
