The Entertainment Guide is distributed to over 10,000 people in conjunction with the Fiesta Bowl's several events. The primary use of this piece is to provide information and updates to the events, organization and charitable giving.
Historically this publication focuses heavily on the Fiesta Bowl Parade with the Parade Grand Marshal being used for the cover. This year's Grand Marshals were the families of 19 fallen fire fighters from Yarnell, Arizona. After processing provided photos and running through options of representing this subject in the cover, I decided that it was more fitting for interior spreads. Returning to a classic theme used in the Parade, I opted for a striking and simple illustration to represent the "Spirit of the Southwest".
