After BAC released details of their new Mono and Mono R I wanted and add some extra details as well as update the materials of an original 2.2 Mono model I purchased a few years ago that was used for an Automotive CGI facebook group challenge.

I aimed for an OEM+ look and found some AP Racing Pro 5000 R Brake calipers on GrabCAD, swapped out the Kumho tires for some Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R's and decided to add some aftermarket Vorsteiner VFE-405 Wheels that were similar in appearance to the 2.5 and 2021 Mono wheels, but unfortunately without the carbon wheel barrel. 

I decided to use a HDRI set from Qualt set at a race track in Argentina. I edited out the sun in the HDRI map and used a Corona Sun so that I could vary the angle for the HDRI's original position slightly to better light the car.

I'm not particularly happing with the loss of detail in the shadow areas under the car, not helped by forgetting to add a shadow render element that could be added in post to help.
