This enjoyable project was for Mare Magazine in Hamburg. It is an illustration of the Jimi Hendrix song "1983 (A Merman I Should Turn To Be)", in which the protagonist transforms into a sea being in order to escape the war-torn world on dry land. I have always loved the song and the opportunity to put it in visual form was a very welcome one indeed!
