Heroes of Space
Funded via a successful Kickstarter campaign I produced a series of limited edition giclée prints as part of a loose world building project called Heroes of Space. It is set in a smoky, somewhat old-fashioned future in which you would expect to still find phone booths and dot matrix printers. The prints were produced by a British company and exhibited in the show "OORTSCH II".
This piece is the establishing landscape shot, introducing the overall aesthetics and architectural style of the world.
TEE is not tea and you would mistake one for the other at your peril. These flamboyant characters are pilots in a sport called 'bragging'.
The high quality giclée prints done by The Printspace are a thing of beauty. I can take no credit for this fact obviously, other than having taken advantage of their offer. What I can say though is that the images and the printing technique are a perfect match.
In bragging one tries to gloriously crash one's ship. A successful bragging pilot will be held in high esteem. This ship is an unusually large vehicle for this, hence the "magnificence" in its title.
