This project was created during my two-month internship at Rad Product studio, based in Brussels.
My goal was to create a chair with the unique objective of using wood and metal materials.
Thanks to its asymmetry, PAPER is out of the ordinary and creates a feeling of instability. The fineness of bentwood brings up the paper’s fragility. A thin slab of metal covers the wooden seat and creates alchemy between these two materials.
Despite its angular appearance, PAPER acts as a reassurance. It reminds of the Scandinavian universe thanks to the wood and its rounded shapes.
