I'm doing a video shoot next week on some tutorials for Adobe video projects for non video people.  I need good looking backgrounds and titles for the work. 

 

I start with a color swatch from Kuler with the colors from the mnemonics for Adobe Premiere and Audition, the 2 apps I'm showcasing. 

I then pulled purchased a stock background from iStockPhoto, to use for texture. I made sure that I purchased a vector background so I could resize it freely. 

 

Then I played with it in Photoshop to resize it for 1080p video.

Finally I tweaked with content. Pulled in and blended the colors from the mnemonics and used the font "Adobe Clean" to give it that official look. 

 

Looks usuable.
