The Overlay / WannaD

For the course of Webdesign we were asked to develop a blog/webzine about a certain branch of design. We decided to talk about photography in an unusual way, giving the photograph the whole width of the screen increasing the natural beauty of the shot.
Everything on the website is on a fixed bar in the middle of the screen that gives to the user the opportunity to filter, just using two arrows, the contents in 4 categories (advertising, architectural, portrait, still life. Each category is identified by a vivid color that goes on overlay on the images with the mouseover.
