In the Ribeira deOura, between Vidago and Chaves, Tras-os-Montes Region, in the North ofPortugal, we find an unique place for the production of wine, Quinta deArcossó.
Situated in a Regionwith deep wine traditions that go back to the pre-roman occupation of TheIberian Peninsula, its vineyards are installed in a convex slope with asouthern sun exposition at 400mts altitude with a 20% steep.
In its granitic soilgrow vineyards species carefully selected and totally adapted to the region. AnAdega projected and built to express all the potential in the grapes andminimize mechanical operations.

Entirely artisan production,complemented with low intervention but high surveillance oenology. All the redwines are transformed by foot treading, while the white and rosé wines, resultfrom a harvest that occurs before sunrise.
The constant searchfor perfection and quality in the winemaking process reaches its climax withthe Quinta de Arcossó Superior, worthy of the finest jewelry, result of themanual selection berry by berry and fermentation in noble wood barrels.
