Kilbowie Animated Guide
This is an informational DVD I created for an outdoor centre in Oban that North Lanarkshire pupils have access too. Not a lot of cash was available so we had to make use of a lot of existing footage which was in varying formats and aspects (hence the cunning use of picture frames to hide the varying live footage formats) to add value to the animation.
This was animated with a combination of AFX & Flash by myself, I also designed & illustrated most of it with additional illustrations coming from Eduardo Iturallde. Most of the kids we tested it on thought that Jack was almost as cute as Sackboy from LittleBigPlanet, that was my measuring stick for victory!
What is quite strange is that I had noticed a pattern emerging in my character design that they all looked a bit like me, and all had my spikey hair. So IRedesign of on-air imaging of the alternative music channel MK. Some of SA's top bands were used as MK brand ambassadors to communicate the ethos or vibe of the channel.
