Serbians suffered a terrible political turmoil,Slobodan Milosevich lost re-election in year 2000 and was forced to put up legally with a trial for genocide.
So on in 2003 Serbia became indipendent thanks to Montenegro's declaration of indipendence from the federal republic of Yugoslavia.
The country went through a huge period of fear and now is living social and cultural reconstruction.
SYNAPSIS is a interactive architectural installation designed for the ex-Jugoslavian pavillion of the biennale di venezia∫,we intended to enphasize the sense of rebirth.
The steel armatures contained in the broken cement ruins, extend themselves throughout air dynamically, forming new structures.
interaction here is the key to the creation of a stimulating environment, larger the number of people in the pavillion, the faster the led linfa will flow.
Union so on defines a change in our everyday experience, even if just in a national artist's showroom.we wanted to leave lots of free space on the ground so that it would have been effectively a empty open space for both people and artists.
The project was followed by arch. Alessio Bonetti, our first mentor regarding viralism in space conception.
Pulsing with soft led linfa, this is a 9 meter tall 8 meter wide and 25 meter long visceral experience.
as much intestianal,as alienating and inspiring.
