Digital concept painting: All Your Gods Are Dead
This is a digital painting I did in Photoshop as a cover to a comic book that never materialized. The starting point of the story was that the world's A-list heroes, your Superman and Wonder Woman analogs, etc., have all been unexpectedly wiped out in a great interstellar war (like they have every couple of years now in the glossies) and the hapless second-stringers, one-gimmick ponies, and stay-at-home sidekicks have to take up the reins. Thus, "All Your Gods Are Dead."
