Remixed Web Designs
In the summer of 2011, I challenged myself to take five existing designs (three of which I had previously created for clients, two of which were done by others) and see if I could enhance them by applying them to some of my favorite industries. And in the case of Imaginary Comics (seen below), I inverted that basic premise, keeping the content of Spawn.com and applying a new, modernized wrapper. It was an interesting exercise that helped refine my sense of design, and pushed me to develop original branding for each mock company.
