Mango Tree Cafe
Identity

Mango Tree Café is all about the vibrant vibe, bustling and exoticness that can be found in Thai culture with a hint of western influence and a modern twist. Positioned to be an atypical Thai eatery, Mango Tree Café serves authentic Thai cuisine with an amalgamation with western recipe. Adding quirkiness and bringing life to the graphic language, illustrations featuring fifteen graphic characters take cues from the “overload-carrying” behaviour seen in Thai streets. Jungle leaf print is also used extensively in the décor to create an ambience of Thai wilderness.
Inspirations

The amalgamation of the multifarious that exists in the metropolis of Bangkok: chaotic, vibrant, bustling and diverse. The juggling of bustling street life and ubiquity of local market making the city unlikely to forget.
The Identity
Facade design
Bronze signage with backlit is used on the facade, creating an authentic yet contemporary vibe.
On the walls of the mango tree cafe, a cultural snapshot of Thailand’s street life: one of overloaded humans who magically resemble an enchanted forest, melding a fierce jungle setting with provincial life on a busy Thai street. Classic Thailand with a contemporary twist, creating an innovative vibe with a familiar background that sets the scene for the novel menu – authentic Thai meets western cuisine – that invites all to experience its quirky fun.
The brand identity seeked inspiration from nature in Thailand. Besides providing the setting for ideation and imagination, it is a canvas full of diverse tones and textures that set distinct moods and atmospheres. Authentic Thai culture is re-interpreted and incorporated into all collaterals.
