Bezalel in Motion
Bezalel Academy of arts and design was relocated to the grounds of the new national library in Israel, in this theoretical project.
The location of the project, between three distinct national landmarks, lead to the idea of inserting a "critical-thinking" centered establishment to their midst, as a tool to facilitate free and open debate - through art and design.

The Academy was placed on the entirety of the available grounds. Roads which connect the Knesset to The Israel Museum and the Knesset to Givat-Ram were then stretched through the mass, and so divided it in to three distinct bodies. Those bodies were then modified to suit their respective affinity to the surrounding establishments.
With the view of the surrounding buildings in-mind, the three buildings were then reconnected via over-head glass pathways, and underground functional connections.
The middle building serves as the main entrance to the complex, with entrances from street levels to it - leading to the main inner garden.
Also contained in the middle building are the shared spaces for all of the Academy faculties, as well as glass walled art galleries that accompany the main road going up the complex. A continuous walkway connects all the levels of the complex and serves both as the main road for the complex as well as an art gallery stroll between all the levels and faculties of the complex.
The Lowest floor of the complex serves as a commercial floor, containing shops, coffee shops, gardens and a flexible space for markets and other activities.
