A few years ago, my father began to hand build custom tube amplifiers. I was inspired by the boxes of the vintage tubes that he had in the basement. I grabbed a few and took them home and did some modifications to capture the "old school" tone of the amplifiers. It was great fun. I hope to write and design a few more in the future.
