MELANIN-0 (Zero)
A project that I did in February as part of a body of work for a joint exhibition at Space Gravity (Prokraft Africa) under the theme BLACK. My interpretation was abit different. I decided to focus on a subject matter that is ideally black but has the absence of black.
People living with Albinism has been a fragile subject in Africa and most have unequally been discriminated. This project is a bold statement of who they are, their values, ambitions, dreams and most importantly to show they are not different from anyone else.
