Making Horror
Making Horror is a new film label that focuses on horror and thriller films, based in Hong Kong. The brand tells a story portrayed through a forensic detective’s eyes, implicitly presenting elements of terror and mystery through the use of crime scene components.
The logo portrays the fine line between order and madness by creating a structured typeface that is then inconsistently distorted.
The distortions create logo variations that are then used throughout the brand’s print and video media. Incorporating the characteristic elements of horror and thriller firms the brand adopted a psychotic personality made present through the stationary by repeating lines and typos.
Making Horror es una nueva productora de filmes del genero horror y suspenso originaria de Hong Kong. La marca busca contar una historia partiendo de la perspectiva de un detective forense. El terror y misterio se presentan de manera implícita con el uso de elementos encontrados en una escena de crimen.
El logo sirve como representación de la delgada línea que existe entre el orden y la locura al usar una tipografía que después es distorsionada de manera inconsistente.
Las distorsiones, crean variaciones de logo presentes en los medios impresos y videos de la marca. Incorporando los elementos característicos de las películas de horror y suspenso la marca adopto una personalidad psicótica. Ésta es representada a través de líneas repetidas y errores tipográficos presentes en la papelería de la marca.
