his quarry exist already from the 16th century and is one of the oldest in this area. There are inscriptions on the walls that are almost 400 years old. There are reports that during world war 2 pilots hide here. All the drawings, fresco’s and sculptures u see are made by the Society of Jesus. They made this drawings as a hobby during their free days. Since years is the quarry in a dangerous state as they used explosives for the purpose of extraction of limestone at the rear of the quarry.

It took me almost 3 months to find it and several trips walking in a forrest for hours to find an entry. This is the most dangerous quarry i have visited but also the most pretty. Enjoy
