The idea of  HAAT was to make the cultural aspect of India accessible to people in the metros who live a fast paced life. An open air handicraft and food plaza from a variety of states and cultural traditions in India. HAAT is an experience of all of India in one place for tourists and visitors. Based on the idea of Dilli Haat, New Delhi the initiative was to market the brand on an all India basis to promote tourism and encourage growth of handicrafts.
Moodboard : For the brand  - I was looking into very Indian colours of reds and yellows that are bright, warm and give an essence of the Indian cultre. Since the brand would be the face of multiple forms of cultural merchandise and crafts a generic logo and colour scheme was what I had aimed at - as that would help position the brand in the international market as well and also be appealing to the younger crowd to increase their interest in promoting cultural values and crafts of their country.
