Target x Emilio Pucci Products

This is a proposed campaign of four objects with three patterns and packaging designs for a proposed brand collaboration between luxury brand designer Emilio Pucci and Target. The newly designed patterns take inspiration from past and present Pucci designs while also incorporating color in a similar way to the designer. The packaging is a cohesive system that relates to both the designer and the corporation. The purpose of this collaboration is to attract the general public to a luxury brand for an affordable price. Leaning into the ideals of style and personality through joyful elegance further elevates these products with those of Pucci’s past. Learning of the birthplace of the brand, Italy, allowed for an understanding of why Emilio Pucci started designing clothing and patterning in the mid-1900s. Inspiration for newly created patterns, including design and color palette, will come from dress patterns created during the 1960s-1970s.
The products in this On-The-Go Essentials collection are a tote bag, a water bottle, a set of three pencils, and a spiral-bound notebook. The target audience for the products would be shoppers at Target who are drawn to vibrant colors and patterns. Each item lends itself to a different use like journaling, traveling, and participating in outdoor activities.
