Gezellig Interiors is an interior design practise led by Annique Heesen, based in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. We worked with the founder to create an unique identity that reflected the owners heritage and recent business growth. 

Prounounced, heh-SELL-ick, and of dutch origin, there is no english equivalent but can be described as cozy, nice, inviting, pleasant, comfortable, cheerful and lived in. With this in mind, we created an identity inspired by the division of space, where the logotype splits apart to create endless compositions of the name GEZELLIG. 

The logotype is composed of custom lettering and complimented with a warm array of organic hues along with a condensed 'GZ' mark for small-scale use.
