While designing for two different private label companies, I have done multiple packaging designs for several brands, some of which had very extensive brand guidelines I had to followed. During the packaging process, I dealt with initial designs, manipulations, and preparation of files and links for print. Communication between the private label companies, myself, and the printers was extremely vital, especially under tight deadlines.

 

It's very rewarding as a designer to see some of your work stacked on a retail shelf for people to purchase. I sometimes still find myself looking at the dates of the product packaging to see if it's still around the time I design/updated them.
