Within a WordPress system developed and managed internally, I work with an editor to select, create and schedule weekly online eNotes based on the most current Garden Gate publication. All images must be resized, scaled, cropped, etc. to be web-ready and the text copied over into separate posts.

By far our most popular eNote post to date, this printed story was able to show most of the how-to steps which made the transition to online that much easier for me as the designer and for the editor.

As every designer knows, it can be restraining to work within a printed page but online it's practically endless. Therefore when the step-by-step photos taken for these weekend projects seen above weren't able to all be used in the publication, it became the perfect content for our weekly eNotes. The plus side, the editor didn't even need to add more text to compensate for the additional images.
