I scouted this location specifically for this gerbera daisy story. With this angle in mind, I helped arrange the plants (still in containers) then the gardener planted them as well as the containers and mulched around the patio and path steps. I researched and purchased the blue pillows and garden stool to accessorize the patio setting without taking attention away from the beautiful flowers. Who doesn't want gerbera daisies after seeing this patio?!

Ironically this location was also scouted specifically for this fall mum makeover -- it's the same patio as the first example. Time was of the essence for these photos are we needed the before (smaller, top photo) to be after the summer plants had diminished but before the fall color was at its peak. One can easily forget about the planting of mums and the arranging and rearranging of containers, pillows, chairs and pumpkins when you look at the colorful after photo.

I was able to gather supplies to display how bright orange hues can be used in the garden or on your patio with hardscaping, a full table setting and flower blooms. Plus, who wouldn't want a great reason to have ice-cold mules served in copper cups?!

This very narrow side garden was a challenge. The angle was limited to one end of the bed and although it had a variety of textures, it was very green. But with some additional colorful containers and attention to what the story callouts were going to be the above layout and photo resulted.
