ACRYLIC:

This is a project that talks about how and where i find inspiration.

It is also the occasion to show you my workflow.

For who follow me on Instagram, is not a secret that i love design, typography but also making music with my synthseizers.

In the last years happened that my designs were inspired by my music live recordings, but also that my music was inspired by my artworks.

It became a sort of weird constant loop process,

that i would like to enhance and show you.

So...

As i spent a lot of time with my modular system,

the first thing that inspired me was the chance to create your own instruments, sound timbres and harmonies, in a so performative way that i found  very close to the visual artist workflow.

ACRYLIC: The music album

Following the process i talked before,

i started making various tracks with the same concept:

trying to make music in the same way i draw and i imagine my designs

Combining digital with analog,  sequenced parts with live performances in the same tune...

and i finally made this "series" of 13 tracks under the name "Acrylic",

released on all music digital platforms,

like Spotify:

ACRYLIC: THE ARTWORKS

While i was recording the album, i was constantly inspired by my "musical experiments"

having visions of a 3D Type Cover (that you saw in the header of this gallery),

textures that reminded to abstract fine arts, applied to 2 artwork mini series:

the first focused more on simple graphic design compositions

and the second focused on imaginary floating 3D sculptures.
