X4 Creative Showcase Publications & Slipcase

These four publications encompassed creative courses including: Design (Graphic Design, Product Design, Interdisciplinary Design, Interior Architecture); Music (Popular Music Industries, Ian Tomlin School of Music); Screen, Media and Photography (Journalism, Edinburgh Skillset Screen and Media Academy, Photography & Film); English, Communication and Publishing (English, English and Film, English and Journalism, Creative Advertising, Publishing, Communications, Advertising and PR). I chose to tie this wide variety of courses together by using a typeface I created using a text generating programme to visualise the word ‘Create’. To me this represents and links together what every creative individual does in these varied creative fields. I kept the typeface which was laid out in the brand guidelines throughout all the publications, and used the logo on a white triangular background as required for consistency with other University publications for the front cover. I gave the four publications different colours to differentiate between areas as they were being inserted into a limited edition slip case, which would be given out to the Industry.
