The Duo

In 2006, I met a fellow DJ/Producer who went by the name of DJ Spy Troop. After talking to each other for a while, we formed a group called The Duo in late 2006. In the Spring of 2007, we made our first LP together which was called "The Duo: Good vs Evil". The album showcased what were capable of at the time as producers, we had only been in Music Prodcution for a few months at the time, so the music reflects that. During that same time, we met another DJ/Producer from the UK who went by the name of This One. This One happened to have his own netlabel, which was called Dust Shop. His label specialized in Experimental, Dub, Soul, and Hip-Hop. This One listened to our little LP that DJ Spy Troop and I had made and liked it. He then signed us to his net label in the later part of Spring 2007. The album was released as a Digital Download complete with artwork in the Fall of 2007. The album featured 2 MCs, Lokust from Canada, and Cheef Long Tooth from the US and had 14 tracks.
