Handmade Scarves
All scarves either hand painted silk, shibori dyed silk, or woven. The white sparkly scarf with beads was painted with merlot wine on the loom and has a very slight purple tone in some sections. The black scarf was an experiment on a sewing machine constructed with yarn and hand dyed felt. The green piece has an inlaid heat pleated organza insert to be worn over the shoulder unlike the shibori silk scarves sold in 2003.
