The Department of Conservation takes care of New Zealand's pristine environment. They required a series of storytelling signs to explain the science behind a glacial river and its surrounding landscape on the West Coast of the South Island.
Working closely with the graphic designer and the Department of Conservation's own scientists, I came up with a quirky, creative way to tell people about the environment around them. The first sign below was such a hit, apparently someone even tried to steal it!
